Our purpose
The Buffalo Creek Watershed District was established January 30, 1969. The district works to alleviate water problems, enhance living conditions, and maintain or improve economic well-being through sound watershed management.
Where we serve
Located in south-central Minnesota, the district covers portions of five counties, six cities, and 28 townships. Much of its land area is in McLeod and Renville Counties.
